BIOSPHERE ANOMALY: LIAR

This is a Biosphere Anomaly in the shape of a large carnivorous plant.
It was discovered in an annihilated state, with small traces of evidence pointing to how this Anomaly behaves with no comment from any witness.
"LIAR" has wide, large leaves strong enough to be able to be stood on, a long stem that once stood tall, and strange tendril organs that seem to be rudimentary sensors of its surroundings upon dissection, sending signals to its core and cavity - a deep grotesque pit large enough to fit most regular medium sized objects. It's cavity goes slightly into the ground before stemming off into its roots, with a abundance of rotting critters and plant matter forming together.
Definitely, this cavity is how this Anomaly feasts on its surroundings, and in its bloom, could have wiped out several times the amount of Biosphere wildlife before its killing. Its method of catch is speculated on by me and my research partner, and we have concluded it did not use its main body to catch prey, but living reproductions to search and destroy, and this educated guess would explain the crude limbs, orifices and teeth-like thorns in some of these piles of decaying plant matter splatted around it's corpse.

"LIAR is by certain a fascinating Biosphere Anomaly and is a eye-opening specimen.
For a plant to grow so wild, adapting sight and reproductive traits into its arsenal, certainly seems to arc in more of a critter, or animalistic direction than our regular flora... We have seen smaller safer examples of carnivorous plants before, but this Anomaly goes to show these mutations and disruptions can turn a concept so harmless into one of devastating scale.
I thank the opportunity to lend my knowledge in studying this Anomaly especially in comparison to the Biosphere's regular plant life." - Mesa

"The theory that this Anomaly both drags things in to consume, and reforms them as aggressive imitations points to a disturbing resemblance on my part, that this Anomaly appears to be a disgusting mockery of an Object Spawn, and I cannot fathom how the formation of such a creature came to be to have such a trait.
I am only hoping this is a one off occurrence, Biosphere Anomalies adapting new traits is certainly not something we need right now." - Rainbow Cookie
